WEEK 23 – janesmasterkey

SILENCE!

I have been on many retreats where we were silent from 3 days to 10 days. I love the silence! It is like living in another dimension. Everything like the birds, flowers, nature becomes more noticeable. You can hear all the sounds around you, everything becomes more intensified. I think it is because you are living more in awareness. I live in a lovely house on a hill. I have neighbors, but you never see or hear them. I feel that I live in a retreat and sometimes it is hard for me to leave here and get out into the world. I have a lovely view and every morning I sit outside and enjoy the view and nature around me.

I don’t have the TV or radio on during the day. I have been accused by friends and family that I don’t like music. That is not true. I love music, but I love the silence more. There is a time and a place for TV or radio, but if you have them on all the time, to me it is just another distraction. I know people who have the TV on all the time, so they don’t feel alone.

This class has reminded me for the need to be in silence every day and just go within. It is a time to connect with Spirit, without distractions. After sitting in the silence, I never feel alone because, in reality, I am never alone! How can you be alone when you are one with everything and everyone! As I sit in the silence, I feel such peace. I feel that there is nothing negative happening unless it is happening within me. I don’t listen to the news, watch any programs on TV that are negative, and am more and more staying away from people who have a negative bent. I want my world to be loving, happy, healthy, full of service and the only way to have that is to give that. I am the one that creates my world!

I love reading the Giving and Receiving card everyday. It keeps my mind in the place where it should be. I use the Law of Substitution when something negative enters my mind. I find that is the law I use the most out of the 7 laws. This week I am working on Imagination from the Franklin Makeover list.

I have thoroughly enjoyed this Master Key Class. I don’t want it to come to an end. I have learned so much, but feel that I could learn so much more. I know that I haven’t fully taken advantage of all of the lessons and exercises in them, but even a little has gone a long way. I find there are certain exercises I gravitate to more and tend to concentrate more on those. Everyday I look at my movie poster on the wall every time I walk by it. That also keeps my mind in the right place. This may sound like a lot of rambling, but these are my thoughts and feelings, and I hope to continue on with doing the readings and exercises long after the class is over. It has helped keep me on track to self-discovery which is a life-long endeavor, but one which I feel we are on this planet to do and one that I have been searching for for a long time. I am so grateful to Mark and Davene for putting this program together and being so generous to share it. They have proven you can live these principles and be successful. Give more, get more!

WEEK 22 – janesmasterkey

Today I am master of my emotions! This is a big one. I have too many people in my life who are run by their emotions! One day they are up, the next day they are down. They hurt people’s feelings because they are in a mood and then make excuses for the mood.

I really believe that by controlling our moods and emotions, we can learn to be more considerate and less hurtful to those around us. My thoughts are you can never take back what you say, even if you apologize. The sting and hurt are still there. Therefore, it is important that we learn to take control of our emotions.

In Scroll VI, Og gives us a plan to learn to control our emotions:

“If I feel depressed I sing.
If I feel sad I laugh.
If I feel ill I double my labor.
If I feel fear I plunge ahead.
If I feel inferior I wear new garments.
If I feel uncertain, I raise my voice.
If I feel poverty I think of wealth to come.
If I feel incompetent I remember past success. and
If I feel insignificant, I remember my goals.

I am going to write these on a card and add them to my daily cards. Therefore, first thing in the morning when I am doing my reads and sit, I can be reminded that I am master of my emotions.

WEEK 21 – janesmasterkay

What is prayer? I have often looked at it as begging. We think of God as outside ourselves, separate from us, as a father is separate from his child. If we want something, we go to the father and ask for it, expecting him to give it to us. God is not separate from us! If we want something, we have to be self-reliant and know that it comes from within ourselves. True prayer, in my mind, is knowing what we want, acting as if we already have it, accepting it, and then know that it will manifest. We are not beggars, we are children of God made in his image, which means we have the same abilities to manifest what we want.

The Master Key Class has brought this out to me very strong! Haanel is telling us all through the class that we are the creators of our lives. Most of us are caught up in our lives the way they are and don’t realize that we are the ones to change them if we wish. We have that power. Through what we have learned during this class, we must take over our lives if we want to live the life we want. It is not in God’s hands. I hear from people all the time that “if God wants me to have it, I’ll get it”, or “whatever God wants”.

As Haanel says “The real secret of power is consciousness of power. The Universal Mind is unconditional; therefore the more conscious we become of our unity with this mind, the less conscious we shall become of conditions and limitations, and as we become emancipated or freed from conditions we come into a realization of the unconditional. We have become free!”

“As soon as we become conscious of the inexhaustible power in the world within, we begin to draw on this power and apply and develop the greater possibilities which this discernment has realized, because whatever we become conscious of, is invariably manifested in the objective world, is brought forth into tangible expression.”

To me, that is prayer!

WEEK 20 – janesmasterkey

I must say that Week 20 in the Master Keys really was great for me. For a long time (since I was a child), I have been wrestling with how can there be a satan when everything is God or Universal Consciousness. Hannel hits it right on the head. There isn’t anything but Universal Consciousness, which is what I always thought.

Here is how Hannel explains it:

“God is spirit. Spirit is the Creative Principle of the Universe. Man is made in the image and likeness of God. Man is therefore a spiritual being. The only activity which spirit possesses is the power to think. Thinking is therefore a creative process.”

“When the creative power of thought is manifested for the benefit of humanity, we call the result good. When the creative power of thought is manifested in a destructive or evil manner, we call the result evil.”

“This indicates the origin of both good and evil; they are simply words which have been coined in order to indicate the nature of the result of the thinking or creative process.”

I have never thought of God as a person sitting somewhere in the universe directing our lives, and so if God is not a person, how could satan be a person. Week 20 explains all this so well. I have never felt alone. How could I be alone, when I am part of everyone and everything else?

WEEK 18 – janesmasterkey

As I have been reading through the Obituaries, I keep thinking of the poem “The Dash”.

http://www.linda-ellis.com/the-dash-the-dash-poem-by-linda-ellis-.html

Each one of those I have read have lived their “dash”.  Some obituaries describe in detail the lives the person lead, others just give a very short synopsis.

This brings me to the quote in the bible “I die daily”.  What exactly does that mean?  In reading this month’s scroll, “I will live this day as if it is my last!”,  it brings to my mind that actually it is my last!  We “die” every night when we go to sleep and resurrect every morning when we awaken.  Therefore, we have to live each day as if it is our last!  We can make plans for the future and remember the past, but all we can do anything about is now!  As the scroll points out, all we have is NOW!  We can’t live in yesterday and we can’t live in tomorrow.

My thoughts on this is that if we live our lives that way, we will be much happier!  We can live the life we want in our visualizations and act as if it is now.  That will bring it into manifestation.  However, if we live in the now, we will enjoy what we have and appreciate those around us, enjoy nature and its beauty, and make the most of every day.  We can live our lives more as an observer and not be too attached to anything because we know this day is all we have.

NOW is all there is.  Appreciate it!  Live in it! and make the best of it!

I live this day as if it is my last!

WEEK 17A – janesmasterkey

WOW!  What a webinar that was!  It was well worth the wait.  I wasn’t able to be on live, so had to wait for the rebroadcast.  I must say, the team did an outstanding job!  I loved the video!  What an inspiration Aimee is!

I recognized the stages that we go through.  Sometimes fear gets in the way of the call and the “subby” reverts to our old blue print and doesn’t want to get out of its comfort zone.  However, when you do, it is so stimulating, exhilerating and exciting.  We have our guides that help us go through the process and this time it is the #MasterKeys.  You have to do the job, but they are there to help point the way.

Joseph Campbell is one of my favorites.  I have the whole series with Bill Moyers, and I have most of his other books.  Three years ago, I started on a new journey of self-discovery.  My husband and I have been studying for a very long time, but until he passed away three years ago, I felt that I was just following him.  I had no idea who I was, because I was either his wife or my daughter’s mother.   When he got sick, we moved away from the family to a warmer climate.  He kept saying that he was doing this for me.  I couldn’t see how he was doing this for me.  We were moving away from my support group and I would be alone.  A few months after his passing, I realized what he was talking about.  I thank him so much for it.  If I would have stayed where we were, I would have been caught up in everyone else’s lives (my family, my friends) and not look to myself for what I wanted my life to be.

Now I’m alone and on my own self-discovery.  Thank God I found the #MasterKeys.  I am very excited about this new adventure!

WEEK 17 – janesmasterkey

In Lesson 17 it reminds me how important Intuition is.  This is what I plan on working on.  I find that sometimes when I get something that comes from my intuition, my mind gets in there and second guesses me.

17.23.  “Intuition arrives at conclusions without the aid of experience or memory.  Intuition often solves problems that are beyond the grasp of the reasoning power.  Intuition often comes with a suddenness that is startling.”  Maybe because it is startling, my mind gets in the way and starts doubting.

As it said in 17, this will weaken your intuition because “if the intuitive visitor is given a royal welcome when he comes, he will come again; the more cordial the welcome the more frequent his visits will become, but if he is ignored or neglected he will make his visits few and far apart.”

OK this means that I must work on recognizing my intuition!  I should follow it and recognize it when it comes, and quit letting my conscious mind talk me out of it.

I am so thankful that I have taken this #MasterKeys Class.  Sometimes when we have studied this type of thing for a long time, we get things but we don’t know exactly what is happening because we don’t know what to do with it or what it is.  The #MasterKeys helps guide you along the path and understand what is happening along the way.  Thank you everyone who is on this path with me.  You are all so supportive and I am truly thankful!

The Art of Thinking. MKMMA Week 17

I really liked this anology of thinking and art! Beautifully stated!

The art of thinking.

Have you ever considered your ability to think as an art?
As a fairly new artist I spend time focusing on the image of what I’m painting. I think about what colors to mix together to get just the right shade, value and depth. Then the brush strokes. Are the edges soft or hard. Where is the dark. Where is the light. The smallest touch of paint in the perfect place will make all the difference. I’m still learning and my paintings take dozens of hours of focused attention.
Now, can you imagine giving that much attention to your thinking?
Thousands of thoughts pass through our minds every day…spouse, kids, grand-kids, aging parents, work, customers, emails, Facebook, twitter, food, sleep, friends, exercise, how do I look, how do I feel, school, Angry Birds, baby shower, am I doing okay, jewelry, clothes, texting, business partners, the weather, the economy…

WEEK 16 – janesmasterkey

I find it very interesting that “the vibratory activities of the planetary Universe is governed by a law of periodicity.  Everything that lives has periods of birth, growth, fruitage and decline.  These periods are governed by the Septimal Law.”

“The Law of Sevens governs the days of the week, the phases of the moon, the harmonies of sound, light, heat, electricity, magnetism, atomic structure.  It governs the life of individuals and of nations, and it dominates the activities of the commercial world.”  This is where numerology comes it, I suppose.  I wasn’t so sure about numerology and those that worked with the numbers.  However from what Hannel says in Chapter Sixteen, it now makes sense to me.  We are definitely moving into something new and I believe really big.

I believe that what we are learning in the Master Keys Classes, will help move the world in a new and better direction.  I think we will be needing more people on this track, and it gives me a greater understanding of what Mark and Davene and the Guides are working for (30,000 more people).  The more people that are growing their consciousness, the better the world as a whole will be.  I think it will help the whole world move upward in a more harmonious way.

“Those familiar with these cycles will not be disturbed when things seem to go wrong, but can apply the principle outlined in these lessons with the full assurance that a higher law will invariably control all other laws, and that through an understanding and conscious operation of spiritual laws, we can convert every seeming difficulty into a blessing.”

The exercises, the DMP’s, the right thinking, all these are but getting us prepared for a much bigger thing.  We are all learning to think right (it’s all in the thinking) and thus when the bigger events come along, we will all be prepared to help with a smoother transition.

“16.10.  Here we have a vision of the law, we see “cause and effect”, we see that thought necessarily precedes and determines action.  If we are wise, we shall come into a realization of the tremendous fact that no arbitrary condition can exist for a moment, and that human experience is the result of an orderly and harmonious sequence.”

We are learning  to “take our fate out of the hands of chance, and consciously make for ourselves the experiences which we desire, because when we consciously realize a condition, that condition will eventually manifest in our lives; it is therefore evident that in the last analysis thinking is the one great cause in life.”

WEEK 15 – JANESMASTERKEY

After being gone for over a month and trying to keep up with everything (no try – do), I fell behind a bit.  I have been on the highway coming back home, but I want to say how invaluable the things we have done in the Master Key is.  I was able to keep up fairly well, because I brought my computer.  On the road when I had no internet, I was able to get the Lesson on the audio portion on my phone, and I want to thank the guides for reading the lessons.  That was invaluable.

I was also able to listen to my recordings.  That too was a great way for me to keep up with my promises and affirmations and DMP.  When we made those recordings, I wasn’t sure the reason, but I must say they certainly came in handy.

I am finally home and am re-reviewing the lessons for the weeks I was gone to see if I missed anything.  I listened to the webinars, but had a few interruptions during them since my great grandbaby took a lot of my time.  However, family is important and since I don’t see him very often, I wanted the time with him.  I didn’t give the focus that was required, so am very appreciative of the fact that we have the recordings to review.  I didn’t appreciate the website, and realize what a fabulous job everyone has done on it, until this past month.  What a fabulous job!  I can find whatever I need to catch up.

While I was gone, I received so many acts of kindness.  Sympathy cards, emails and condolences for the loss of my brother.  My house sitters cleaned my house so it was nice and clean when I returned.  Two separate friends took me out to an “Elvis through the Decades” show when I returned.

I’m glad to be home and knuckle down to getting my life back on track, but appreciate so much what I have and the people in my life.

I am nature’s greatest miracle!
